New Features

Contacts

  • New field "Keywords_Used" to allow the listview to show what keywords are attached to the Contact record.
  • Contacts can now be associated with Vendors the same way they are with Customers. As many as you want.

Paper

  • In list view, the Assign button has 2 new items to "Mark as Active" and "Mark as Inactive"
  • In list view, the Imp/Exp button has a new menu item to "Import from Vendor" which allows the import of a PrintSmith paper export file from Spicer's US. More vendor imports are in the works.

Report Manager

  • When editing a report, there is a new Save button which saves the work in progress without leaving the editor so that user can continue working on the report

Web2Print

  • Added 'country' to all uses of shipping locations and addresses in order to handle international shipping

Paper

  • The "Obsolete" checkbox has been renamed to "Inactive" and moved to the top right of the Paper entry form.

Report Manager

  • When editing a report, the Done button now says Cancel so the user explicitly knows that all changes since the last save will be lost.

Fixes

General

  • In list views, fixed a bug when typing characters in the Find In Selection box at the top of the list view. Tabbing out of the box or moving to another object on the form would cause the selection to change because the On Data Change of the box executes before the new object, causing the Find In Selection to use ALL RECORDs or a set of records other than what is typed in the Find In Selection box. Now we get the last set created by the typed characters.

Jobs

  • Fixed an issue when the Estimate is a Shortform which caused the Runstyle on the Printing Tab of the Job to show as the Printing Units instead of the Runstyle.

Post-Press

  • Fixed an issue when moving between records when the database is not registered to use the Scheduling Module. The user no longer gets an alert that the database is not registered for the Scheduling Module.

Purchase Orders

  • Fixed an issue where the user could go to Job, edit a Buyout or Paper Purchase Order that had already been completed, Print it, and then never be able to exit the PO to return to the Job, forcing the user to terminate the application.

Shipping

  • User no longer gets an error dialog when trying to enter the quantity shipped if the item has no Job assigned to it.
